2020 Ford Escape release date
The wait is nearly over! The redesigned 2020 Ford Escape is coming soon to Hansel Auto Group! It boasts improved power and acceleration, the return of the hybrid model and a long list of updates. There are also new sliding second-row seats and not one, but two all-new hybrid models. Best of all, the 2020 Ford Escape is set for a fall 2019 release date!
Immediately upon seeing the new Ford Escape you will see a sleeker, sportier design that makes the new SUV lower, wider and longer. The Escape is also the most aerodynamic to date after shedding more than 200 pounds and adds two new engine options, including a 250-hp, 2.0-liter EcoBoost and a 180-hp, 1.5-liter EcoBoost.
For the hybrid models, there is an all-new 2.5-liter Atkinson cycle hybrid engine paired with an electronic CVT for a combined output of 198 horsepower. There’s also a new quick-shifting 8-speed automatic transmission for Ecoboost-equipped models, an all-new suspension and available all-wheel drive.
The SUV’s updates continue inside its cabin with an all-new heads-up display for the Titanium model, new selectable drive modes, standard Ford Co-Pilot360™ driver assist technology and an available 12.3-inch all-digital instrument cluster. The 2020 Escape is also available with a heads-up display, which is a first for Ford in North America, and a variety of driver-assist features, including Active Park Assist 2.0 and Evasive Steering Assist. Other technologies include standard FordPass Connect ™ with 4G LTE Wi-Fi for up to 10 mobile devices, an available wireless charging pad, Apple CarPlay ™, Android Auto ™ and much more.
