How does Apple CarPlay work?

What apps are available on Apple CarPlay? 

From Google Maps to Pandora, there are a variety of apps for the Apple CarPlay. The thing to keep in mind is that only Apple-approved apps are available for CarPlay. That means no 3rd-party apps, including Waze. However, you can still use Waze and other apps in the background of your phone and hear directions from your Honda’s speakers when the devices are paired. Just be aware that the physical 3rd-party app won’t show up on the CarPlay’s touchscreen. With that said, here are apps you can add:
